The Foil Explore Cruising project was born from the association of two friends passionate about the sea, great adventures and board sports.
Arthur L oquin
Originally from the Bordeaux region, Arthur discovered sailing thanks to his grandfather at the age of 6. He learned the ropes on the Ambares gravel pit before joining the Etude d'Arcachon sports high school and progressing to regional, national and then international dinghy competitions. During his university years in STAPS and then in the Osteopathy School, he continued to sail in offshore racing and discovered surfing. His travels and sailing in Europe, Asia and Central America have made him a thoughtful sailor who is adaptable to all types of situations. With several seasons as a sailing instructor under his belt and over 3 years of practicing and teaching wingfoil, Arthur will be able to combine all the elements necessary to supervise you and help you progress.

Tanguy Thomas
Also originally from Bordeaux, it was in Corsica on the beach of Porto Pollo that Tanguy took his first windsurfing tacks at the age of 6. At the age of 10, he joined the competition team at the Lacanau Sailing Club. In windsurfing, he competed in regional, national and international competitions in Europe until he was 21. He discovered the new foil disciplines as soon as they appeared. At the same time, his university years of STAPS allowed him to develop skills in supervising all audiences in sports and fitness activities such as Pilates.
With 7 seasons spent teaching his passions between lake and ocean in Lacanau, his travels in Europe, Atlantic and the Indian Ocean, Tanguy will use all his skills to bring you by sailboat to the best wingfoil spots to start or perform!
